The Tokaido TSUNAMI SILVER karate-gi is a traditionally cut karategi with jacket and long sleeves. Ideal for advanced karatekas and teachers alike, this kimono is made from high-quality, breathable cotton with a smooth texture and a very comfortable fit. The JKA logo appears on the black Tokaido label on the bottom of the jacket.

How to choose your size
It’s best to choose a karate-gi about 5 centimetres longer than your waist.
Be careful, this kimono is quite large, so 5 cm is really the maximum unless you’re a big guy.
Try to wear as close to your waist as possible, or even under it if you’re slim.

Concernant ce modèle de kimono, je mesure 170 cm pour 77 Kg. J’ai commandé un 180 cm car j’aime la coupe traditionnelle avec pantalon et manches longues. Apres essayage, le 180 était “énorme”. Je l’ai donc échangé par un 175 cm que j’ai directement lavé en machine à 60 °. Il a bien retreci, le pantalon est nickel, la veste encore un peu large et des lavages supplémentaires devrait arranger tout cela.
Concernant le poids, il est assez lourd, donc polyvalent.

Ne pas hésiter à demander des conseils sur la taille. Perso, 1m80, 70kgs, j’ai pris un 170 (4) et c’est parfait.
Le système de laçage du pantalon est comme j’apprécie. Le tissu est épais sans trop en faire. Il sera parfait pour mes entraînements réguliers (j’ajoute qu’il n’y a pas trop d’étiquettes/écussons/broderies sur le gi, ce qui me convient parfaitement).
Des délais de livraison affichés un peu long, mais j’ai été tenu informé et finalement livré plus vite que prévu !

Comme indiqué dans la description, taille grand. Je mesure 1m65, petit gabarit, j’ai pris le 160, ça passe mais la taille au dessus aurait été trop grande.
