We deliver worldwide, with the exception of a few countries.

Shipping methods

Most of the products sold on Karate-Gi are held in stock in our warehouse in Langres, France. We prepare and dispatch parcels directly from our platform. The shipment is made according to the carrier chosen by the customer when ordering (Mondial Relay, Colissimo, Chronopost, …). When a product is not in stock, we indicate an average restocking time. For certain products, in order to speed up delivery, we have them delivered directly by our suppliers.

Shipping costs

Shipping costs are displayed directly in your shopping cart when you place your order. They depend on what you have in your basket and the shipping method you choose;

To find out how much postage costs:

Fill your basket with the products you wish to order. An estimate of shipping costs may be displayed when your basket is displayed. Then, when you enter the exact delivery address, the costs will be automatically updated.

From 49 € of purchase, Free Delivery” – Conditions of application :

For purchases of €49 or more, delivery in mainland France, in a parcel relay, is offered by karate-gi. If you choose home delivery, you will be charged the difference in price. For all other destinations, delivery charges will depend on the delivery address and carrier. They will be displayed in your basket and your order.

Routing time

Orders, with all products “in stock”, are generally dispatched within 1 to 2 working days of receipt of payment (often much less).

Depending on the carrier you choose, and your delivery address, the delivery time (Shipping + Transport) will be different.

Here are the usual estimated delivery times for France.

  • GLS: 24 h (this is mainly used for home deliveries or deliveries to relay points))
  • Chronopost: 24h
  • Colissimo : 48h
  • Mondial Relais : Between 2 and 4 days

If your order includes embroidery, please allow an additional 1 to 2 weeks for the embroidery to be made (except for factory embroidery – delivery time indicated on the product sheet). To save time, we ship your embroidered orders directly from our embroidery workshop in Talant, near Dijon. Should we be unable to deliver within a reasonable time (very rare), we will inform you as soon as possible and refund your order immediately.

IMPORTANT NOTES

  1. If your order includes products with a stated shipping time (e.g. “Ships within 1 to 2 weeks”), your order will only be shipped once we have received all the products in your order at our warehouse. If there are products marked “In stock” in your order and you would like them shipped separately first, you will need to place separate orders.
  2. The delivery times given for means of transport are the delivery times once your parcel has left our premises. These delivery times are average values, most often observed.

Customized commands:

Orders for personalized items must be paid for in advance. Once we have made a personalized item (e.g. embroidered belt, embroidered kimono or any other personalized item or special order), this order will be considered confirmed and cannot be changed. Personalized items cannot be refunded or exchanged (unless we are at fault).

Customs duties and local taxes :

If your order concerns a country outside the European Union or French overseas departments and territories, customs duties and taxes may be added depending on your country. We are not responsible for these charges, which are based on local regulations in your country. They are always at your expense and must be paid to the carrier on receipt of your order. If you do not pay these charges when you receive your order, your packages will be returned to us automatically by the delivery company. We will not be able to reimburse a customer who has refused to pay these customs duties and taxes. If your order is for France (excluding French overseas departments and territories) or any other European Union country, don’t worry, you won’t be charged any additional customs fees or taxes. However, it may happen that, in order to reduce delivery times, we have your order delivered directly from Japan (for Hirota or Tokyodo, for example), and that customs may charge you fees and taxes. In this case, don’t worry: we’ll either pay these charges directly, or, if you have to pay them yourself, we’ll reimburse you.
