This Makiwara Kamikaze is wall-mounted. This Makiwara features a black-painted metal base, the extremely flexible hardwood makiwara foot, a black leather striking pad and all required metal screws and dowels.

Makiwara is used as a training tool in various styles of traditional karate. It encourages the development of striking skills using the closed fist, open hand and elbows (tsuki, uchi, uké).

In addition to wall mounting, this Makiwara also attaches to wood and a striking pad. The wood is treated with a protective varnish that leaves no film on the wood.
As a result, the wood can move without cracking. We recommend fixing at a height of around 20 cm above the floor.

It is necessary to create 2×3 holes for 14mm studs.
