Sai Kamikaze Professional Kobudo is designed in solid wrought iron, with an octagonal shape. The solid wrought-iron octagonal SAI can be black, red, blue or wooden.
This Sai Kamikaze is handcrafted in Europe with a long turning phase (not cast) and worked with a black oxide coating.

Iron parts are treated with black oxide to obtain corrosion resistance, then treated with oil to optimize corrosion resistance. One of its advantages over other coatings is its thinness. When struck, sai can produce a sound called “ringing”. Another advantage is that there will be no settling or packing of the paint when sai are used in bunkai and kumite.

The sai should be regularly treated with gun or sewing-machine oil to improve its resistance to corrosion.

The most common sizes are M (47 cm long) and L (52 cm long).

Each Sai weighs between 650 and 750 grams.
