This Onyx Zero Gravity “Premiere League” model is the Karategi Arawaza Onyx Zero Gravity with red or blue shoulder embroidery for Karate Premiere League competitions (see below).
Made from a revolutionary micro-fiber fabric, it weighs in at an ultra-light 5oz (140g / m2). As its name suggests, Arawaza’s Onyx Zero Gravity karategi defies the laws of gravity with a featherweight of just 500g for a 180 cm waist. It is currently the most technical and advanced karate-gi ever made. Arawaza’s Onyx Zero Gravity karategi is one of the world’s lightest karate-gi kumite kimonos, alongside the Onyx Zero Gravity. This karategi doesn’t stick to the skin, doesn’t shrink or wrinkle, and dries very quickly. True to the Onyx generation, it is still highly resistant and offers maximum breathability for intense kumite training and competitions, while retaining optimum mobility.
Many national teams adopted the Onyx Zero Gravity at the 2016 World Championships in Linz. It continues to be the choice of many champions. Approved by the WKF, it’s certainly the karate-gi most suited to kumite competition.

How to choose your size
It’s best to choose a kimono that’s your size, or about 5 centimetres (maximum) longer than your waist (note that this karategi shrinks very little).
