Kimono karate-gi Adidas TAIKYOKU Kata
The new TAIKYOKU karate kimono: versatile and “snappy”, designed for kata, training and competition. The pants feature full-length gussets. They replace the former “Elite” model, which is no longer produced by Adidas.
The kimono is made of sturdy 100% cotton fabric that provides a snapping effect when executing fast movements.
Although designed for Kata, the Taikyoku has a lighter fabric than the new Adidas kimono – Shori (very heavy). The Taikyoku is much more versatile and easy to wear for everyday training.

How to choose your size
It’s best to choose a kimono about 5 centimetres longer than your waist.
- Close to the body: Waist = your height
- Ample: 1/2 size above your height
- Very large (Kata competition) 1 size larger or more
