How to choose your size

It’s best to choose a karate-gi about 5 centimetres longer than your waist.

• Close to the body: Waist = your height
• Ample: 1/2 size above your height
• Very large (Kata competition) 1 size larger or more

Did you know?

The term Goshin comes from the Japanese 護身 and literally means “body protection”. In fact, it’s simply what we call self-defense or personal defense. Japanese self-defence methods are known as “Goshin Jutsu”.
