How to place an order

Whether it’s a kimono, belt, protectors or any other product on sale at karate-gi.fr, the procedure for placing an order remains the same.

Once you’ve chosen your product, selected the mandatory options (size, color), the quantity and added any personalization options, simply click on Add to cart.

A new window appears, allowing you to view the contents of your basket, or to confirm your order directly.

1- Your shopping cart

You can view the contents of your basket at any time by clicking on the “Basket” button at the top right of any page on the site.

In your basket, you’ll see details of what you’d like to order, and you can change the quantity of each product.

You can also simulate the delivery method by briefly indicating your shipping address. The prices for each delivery method are displayed and may vary according to the delivery address, the contents of your basket and the amount of your order (see our delivery conditions) – Here, the choice of carrier is not obligatory and you can change it at the next stage when validating your order.

At this stage, you can still add products to your order by clicking on “Continue shopping”.

But if you have nothing to add to the basket, click on“Confirm order“.

2 – Validating your order

By clicking on“Confirm order“, you are redirected to the billing page, where you must fill in your contact details so that we can process your order.

• If you’ve already ordered from Karate-gi, or if you already have an account, you’ll need to log in to your account so that all the fields fill in automatically. (You’ll need to log in to order anyway, so you might as well do it now :-D)
• If this is your 1st order on Karate-Gi, don’t worry, our software will automatically create an account for you with the information you enter. You’ll receive all your account information just after your order has been confirmed.

> Billing details :

The first thing to do is fill in your billing details (first name, last name, address, etc.). Mandatory fields are followed by a *.

Important : your phone number and e-mail address are mandatory. Why is this necessary?

• Your telephone number will enable us to contact you quickly in the event of a problem with your order, such as missing information for an embroidery, or a problem with your delivery address. Your number will also be passed on to the carrier, who may contact you at the time of delivery.
• Your e-mail address will be used to create your account on Karate-Gi so that you can track your order. It will also be used to send you order tracking e-mails and to contact you in the event of a problem.

Please check that your e-mail address and telephone number are correct before placing your order, otherwise you may not be able to track your order.

> Delivery address (optional)

If you wish to be delivered to an address different from your billing address. You’ll need to check Ship to a different address and enter the contact details and information necessary for us to deliver to you.

You can also add a comment in the “Order note (optional)” box, e.g. a clarification on an embroidery, etc.

> Choose a delivery method :

You must now choose a delivery method. Depending on your shipping address, we’ll offer you several shipping methods with different rates.

If you’ve selected a relay point delivery method, don’t forget to select the relay point,
, otherwise our software will choose it itself (usually the one closest to your delivery address).

> Choose your payment method

You can choose from 4 payment methods:

1. CB (credit card)
2. Paypal
3. Bank transfer
4. Check

You make your choice by ticking the box next to the payment method you prefer.

> Accept the terms and conditions

Please note that whatever payment method you choose, you must read our general terms and conditions of sale and tick the box: ” I have read and accept the general terms and conditions” before clicking on the Order button,

> Login to your account Karate-Gi

At this stage, if you have an account on Karate-Gi and have not yet logged in, you must do so in order to complete your order (this is a legal obligation).> Login

> Confirm your order

Once all the steps have been completed, we recommend that you check :

1. Your billing details
2. Your delivery address (if different)
3. The mode of transport (and possibly the parcel delivery service)
4. Your payment method
5. Acceptance of Terms and Conditions
6. Login to your Karate-Gi account (unless this is your 1st order)
