How to make an exchange

The procedure for making an exchange is very simple.

Just send us an e-mail to [email protected] or visit the contact page.

In your e-mail, please indicate your order number and the product you wish to exchange.

Exchange request :

If the size doesn’t suit you, tell us what size you need in exchange.
If you would like to exchange the item you have received for another model, please tell us what you would like in exchange, and don’t forget to specify the size, color,….

We’ll get back to you within a few hours of receiving your e-mail.

Exchange and shipping costs :

Our priority is customer satisfaction,

For France, we do not charge exchange fees or shipping costs for the first return of an order.
All the steps (return order via Mondial Relay, repackaging and restocking of the returned product) are taken care of by Karate-Gi and you will not have to pay anything.

Only the first return of an order is free. If you wish to return it again despite an initial exchange, a fee will be charged.

For French overseas departments and territories and other countries, we will only charge the shipping and return costs invoiced to us by the carrier(unless you take care of the shipping yourself, of course :-D). We take care of repackaging and restocking the return parcel and preparing the new parcel.

Price difference :

If the products you are exchanging are not at the same price, we will proceed in the same way.

  • If the new product is more expensive, we will charge you the price difference.
  • If it’s cheaper, we’ll refund the difference, either directly or in the form of a credit note, depending on your choice.

How the exchange works

In most cases, we will be able to send you a return slip so that you can send us back the product that doesn’t fit.
This is a label to be printed and stuck on the return parcel to be dropped off at a parcel relay.

However, there may be times when this is not possible or when it would be more convenient for you to ship the return package yourself.

In this case, you will have to send us (at your expense) the return parcel to our address:

Upon receipt of the return package, subject to availability, we will ship you the new product.

Special case – Return of personalized, embroidered or custom-made products

As a general rule, we cannot take back personalized or customized products, unless the problem comes from us.

However, as our priority is your satisfaction, you can send us an e-mail explaining the problem you’re having with your personalized or custom-made product, and we’ll discuss with you what needs to be done. Each case will be treated individually and intelligently.
