Erwan Siohan is a young karateka in the junior category.16 years old, he lives in Dijon and has been practicing karate since he was 5 years old, having then started at the USCD Karate club with Antonio Fois.

He then began competing in Kumite at the age of 7. At 14, before obtaining his black belt, he started competing in Kata.

Since then, I’ve been doing both,” he explains.

This season, Erwan took part in the French Kumite and Kata Championships, but without any results. He took second place at the Coupe de France Zone Nord, a second silver medal at the Coupe de France des Corporations in Kumite, and third place in Kata.

Erwan Siohan is currently preparing for his second Dan next season.

“I’m not particularly involved in karate-related activities, due to a lack of free time. However, at the beginning of the season, I passed my AFA, so I attend the children’s classes and coach them during their competitions. Last season, I took part in Bruno Bandelier’s videos for Karate-Blog.net”, he added.

Alongside karate, Erwan takes part in a sports option at his high school, practicing mountain biking, running and orienteering, usually between 3 and 6 hours a week. At the same time, he undertakes his karate training. A great sportsman!
