Kamikaze ‘s New Life Excellence karate-gi is a top-of-the-range model, a direct competitor to Shureido’s famous New Wave 3.

Its fabric is the fruit of many years of study, with the aim of recreating the fabric of the Shureido – New Wave 3 by blending cotton and polyester, giving it a most impressive snapping effect and a fairly rigid fabric.

The karateka who loves the feel of Shureido’s NW 3 kimono will certainly enjoy wearing the New Life Excellence.

For its measurements, the Kamikaze kimono has shorter sleeves and legs with a traditional Kata cut.

Also, the color of its fabric is a classic white, while that of the New Wave 3 has a slight bluish tint.

The New Life Excellence karategi has been designed to meet all the requirements of kata competition.

How to choose your size

It’s best to choose a karate-gi about 5 centimetres longer than your waist.

• Close to the body: Waist = your height
• Ample: 1/2 size above your height
• Very large: 1 size up
